The cinemas at BIP shopping mall are the best in the northern part of the city. Admission is ~rp15000 and the screens and sound in BIP 6 and 7 are big. See the local newspaper, Pikiran Rakyat for listings. Also ffb.netura.net.id

VCD, DVD &  laser disk rental

Many rental places exist. Some deliver and many require some registration fee. For VCDs, customers have a choice between pirated and "original" films. There are some places that rent DVDs but they are still rather rare.

Bandung nightlife according to excite.com -somewhat outdated. Polo & Studio East have been RIP for some time now, though Studio East recently re-opened. Laguna is also no longer open.
